Deicit™ Pet Safe Ice Melt is an eco-friendly and pet-safe solution for icy conditions, made by Andemar Dust & Ice Control Ltd. It's crafted from a mix of natural ingredients, including a proprietary corrosion inhibitor and pelletized salt, which makes it effective even in extremely cold conditions, down to -31°C, and much less corrosive than regular rock salt. It’s non-corrosive to skin and safe for all ages of concrete, ensuring no harm to pets' paws or skin when used. A study conducted by Dr. Elad Rosenfeld DVM and Dr. James Templeman PhD at the University of Guelph found no adverse effects on 30 sled dogs who were exposed to the product, even when ingested.
