Deicit™ is a combination of a naturally derived organic accelerator, a proprietary corrosion additive and pelletized salt. Together they accelerate melting down to -31°C and reduce corrosion by 85% versus rock salt. Deicit is designed to be safe for the environment and safe for pets. Deicit™ is manufactured in St. Marys, Ontario by Andemar Dust & Ice Control Ltd

Deicit™ is certified Pet Safe. Andemar employed Dr. Elad Rosenfeld DVM and Dr. James Templeman PhD, both who are associated to the University of Guelph. The study was performed on 30 sled dogs to observe any ill effects to their paws over 5 days and any negative effects if they ingested any Andemar Deicit.  No ill effects were observed on any of the animals.
