Saphed and his sister Sada are fraternal twin white tigers, the first ever pair. Sada and Saphed were spotted as cubs in the Sunderbans region of Bangladesh, one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Authorities decided that it would be best for Sada, Saphed, and their orange haired tiger mom to join the Bangladesh National Zoo. Saphed and Sada mean white in Hindi and Bengali.
